While more common in the elderly population, chronic pain can be found in many age levels. Pain in general is just about as annoying as it gets for day-to-day activities. Our bodies are designed to function as a complex system of intricate parts operating to perform all the abilities necessary to live.
If one of our systems is interrupted or not functioning at the highest level it will cause a cascade of events causing the rest of the body to compensate and not function properly as a whole. Even though chronic pain is an example of this snowball effect over a larger time period, there is still hope to find and correct the cause of this pain.
